ccr question 1 (text)
1. how does your product use or challenge convection and how does it represent social groups or issues?
We chose the most overlooked and forbidden social category,
struggling youths and adults. When we were looking for ideas for a topic, we
observed a lot of teens and adults, and it came to us that we had struggled
with mental health issues as teenagers, and that most people would reject our
problems as "useless," "meaningless," and so on. Targeting
a typical morning routine with an unexpected act was essentially our method of
highlighting how difficult decisions can be made even on a sunny day. The way
we end the film's opening sequence is a stark contrast to the previous
pictures. The story bounced back and forth between childhood and maturity.
Mental health issues are always essential, but they are frequently disregarded.
because of the stigma attached to it We wanted to break that taboo and show how
hard real life can be, as well as how so many individuals may be suppressing
their suffering, which can really just shatter them from the inside out.
