• Tripod held camera in order to stimulate disorientation within the audience
• Closeups and extreme closeup shots of the antagonist
• High angle shots to show protagonist dominance over the antagonist 
• Over the shoulder shot to position audience's attention 
• Wide shot in first scene usually an establishing shot is used in most thriller genre 
• Deep focus so all scene is in focus for the viewers  
• Crab shot for a confined shot
